Meet in Person! A Special On-site Career Fair for Ph.D. Students and Postdocs in Kyoto

A special on-site career fair exclusively for PhD students and postdoctoral researchers will be held in Kyoto!
This is a valuable opportunity to meet company representatives face-to-face and hear directly from them.
The venue is Miyakomesse, conveniently located near Higashiyama Station on the Kyoto City Subway.
This event is primarily for students from the seven organizing universities (*).

・Kyoto Sangyo University
・Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine
・Doshisha University
・Nara Women’s University
・Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST)
・Ritsumeikan University

(*) While students from universities other than those listed above are also welcome to apply, please be aware that we may decline your participation if applications exceed capacity.

Companies Seeking PhD Talent

This event is exclusively for PhD and postdoc participants, offering the chance to meet companies actively seeking doctoral talent.
After the main presentation, join small-group sessions with individual companies to learn about their culture, projects, and PhD-level roles.

A Japanese presentation will be provided with a translation app.

25 min presentation + 10 min break

QCan I participate regardless of my graduation/completion year?: AYou can participate regardless of your graduation/completion year. It is expected that the recruitment information will mainly be for those who can join by April 2027, but companies recruiting for April 2026 entry will also be exhibiting. Please inquire with the representatives of the exhibiting companies about the application process on the day.
QCan I join the event without prior registration?: AThis event is for pre-registered participants only. Walk-in attendance is not permitted. Please register in advance using the application button. Registration may close early if capacity is reached.
QIs casual attire acceptable for the event?: A Yes, casual attire is perfectly fine. As the event will be held over several hours, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing.
Q Can I arrive late or leave early during the event?: AYes, you're free to arrive late or leave early. Please notify an Acaric staff member when doing so.
QCan I cancel my reservation?: A Yes. Log into Acaric, go to [Application Status], select the event, and click the Cancel button.
